Jefferson County Deputies Involved in Vehicle Pursuit Tuesday Afternoon

(Jefferson County) Deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office were involved in a vehicle pursuit early Tuesday afternoon after a woman called 911 claiming that she was a victim of a carjacking and kidnapping in the City of St. Louis that supposedly occurred earlier that morning.
Grant Bissell is the Public Safety Information Coordinator with the sheriff’s office. He says the victim was able to report the incident at a home near Regina Road and Route BB outside of Hillsboro.
Bissell notes the pursuit than continued into Franklin County.
The name of the suspect has not been released. Stay tuned to Regional Radio as more updates become available.
