(Hillsboro) With the Social Distancing and a Stay At Home Orders by Jefferson County officials, people continue to be out and about. Municipal buildings have been closed to the public, County offices have restricted the number of residents entering the building and have adjusted their hours and rotating their personnel. Jefferson County Executive Dennis Gannon says he’s witnessed too many people not abiding by the order and that’s concerning.

As of Monday evening, there have been 23 positive cases of Coronavirus in Jefferson County. Gannon has also extended the Stay At Home Order until April 23rd.
