Jefferson County Handing Out Free Personal Protective Equipment Kits at Various Locations

(Jefferson County) This week the Jefferson County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) will be handing out free Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits to those who need them.

The kits will be handed out at various dates, times and locations throughout the county.

Emergency Management Director Warren Robinson says each one of the PPE kits contains 50 disposable masks, 3 ply masks as well as a an 8 ounce bottle of hand sanitizer.

The PPE kits were purchased with Federal Cares Act funds the county received earlier this year.

We asked Robinson if there will be more PPE kit handouts later this winter.
