(Hillsboro) All Jefferson County public school districts have been offering a virtual learning option this year. Many of the schools are using a hybrid system in which they are staggering the number of students on campus for in-person learning, and a few others like Festus R-6, Dunklin R-5, and Crystal City are going to school on a normal schedule. All of these options were put into place to keep positive Covid-19 cases to a minimum. Jefferson County Health Department Director Kelley Vollmar believes the schools are doing a great job.

Crystal City and Grandview R-2 are going four days a week, which is a normal schedule for them. DeSoto recently moved to in-class learning four days a week. Fox, Northwest, Hillsboro, Jefferson R-7, and Windsor continue to operate with a hybrid schedule.
