Jefferson County Health Department Managing with Heavy Workload During COVID-19 Pandemic

(Jefferson County) As expected, the Jefferson County Health Department (JCHD) remains busy with the heavy workload stemming from the coronavirus pandemic.

Brianne Zwiener is the Communications Specialist for the JCHD. She says the health department has its focuses divided in three different divisions.

The Jefferson County Health Department’s Hillsboro location remains open to the public from 8 am until 5:30 pm for limited clinical services along with vital record requests.

The High Ridge location is closed to the public and has been converted into the health department’s call center.

The Arnold location is also closed to the public and is now housing the health department’s COVID-19 case investigation center.
