Jefferson County Health Department on Current COVID Numbers

(Jefferson County, MO) Jefferson County continues to see a steady amount of new COVID-19 cases reported each day, with the daily average closing in around 50.

Kelly Vollmar is the Director of the Jefferson County Health Department. She says Jefferson County is currently in the “orange” for COVID-19 numbers.

Vollmar mentions it’s not only important to look at what’s happening in Jefferson County, but surrounding counties as well.

Out of a four color system, Green; Yellow; Orange; and Red, Jefferson County has been in the Orange for roughly five weeks.
