Jefferson County Health Department on recent Covid-19 spikes

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County Health Department continues to see increases in positive Covid-19 cases in the area. Director Kelley Vollmar says the upcoming days could see a jump due to a few delays at the state level.

Vollmar says the 20 to 29 age group still has the largest number of positive cases.

The Jefferson County Health Department is planning on adding an additional color guidance indicator in place which will be “orange” and she feels that is where Jefferson County currently sits with “green” being in the clear, “yellow” being in the middle, and “red” being in shut down the county mode.
