Jefferson County Health Department Receives Grant from Jefferson Foundation

(Jefferson County) Jefferson County Health Department was recently awarded $145,000 in grant funding from Jefferson Foundation.
JCHD spokeswoman Brianne Zwiener says grant funds will be utilized by the health department June 1st through May 31st next year to increase access to healthcare and other services to improve quality of life for county residents.
The remaining funds will support the completion of a centralized data surveillance dashboard and resource navigation tool.
These tools will allow regional and county organizations to monitor and identify emerging needs within the community as well as efficiently connect residents and families to appropriate services.
