Jefferson County Health Department Wellness Walks

(Jefferson County) The Jefferson County Health Department (JCHD) recently launched a new community health program called JeffCo Wellness Walks.

JCHD spokeswoman Brianne Zwiener says the program focuses on encouraging physical and mental health activities while enjoying local parks and walking trails.

The wellness walks consists of 10 activity signs posted along walking trails/paths in local parks throughout the county.

Currently, wellness walks are set up at the Northwest Jefferson County Sports Complex, Pomme Park in Arnold, Arnold City Park, Hillsboro City Park and the Peace Pantry in Cedar Hill.
