(Jefferson County) The Jefferson County History Museum is planning to reopen it’s doors for the first time since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The museum, which is located in the First United Methodist Church in Festus, has an initial opening date set for April 1st.

That’s according to historical society president, Bernard Laiben.

Laiben mentions they’re ready to get the museum back up and running to visitors.

The Jefferson County History Museum will reopen on Thursday night’s from 6 until 8.
