Jefferson County may have peaked from omicron variant

(Hillsboro) Hopes are high that Jefferson County may have peaked when it comes to the spread of Covid-19, in particular, the Omicron variant. Jefferson County Health Department Director Kelley Vollmar says the numbers have improved…a little.
Vollmar says the percent positive cases among other counties in the St. Louis area are better.
Starting today (Wed) there is a state-run Covid-19 testing site set up at the Hillsboro Community Civic Center on Highway 21. The testing site will take place today from 10 am until 6 pm and continues for the next four Wednesdays in February.
