Jefferson County new CAD system nearly completed

(Hillsboro) An ongoing project within the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Jefferson County 9-1-1 Dispatch is close to finishing up. The new Computer Aided Dispatch system is very close to finishing up. Sheriff Dave Marshak says the new system is up and in operation at Jefferson County 9-1-1.
Sheriff Marshak says the next step, which will be a lengthy one, is adding the system to each patrol vehicle.
The project has been in the works for the past few years and will help the Sheriff’s Office become more efficient when responding to calls for service.
