(Jefferson County) While some other surrounding counties and even municipalities are closing public parks in response to COVID-19, the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Department is keeping its parks open to visitors.
Timothy Pigg is the Director of the county parks and recreation department. He says there are some restrictions in place at county owned parks.
Pigg encourages people to practice social distancing precautions while at the park.
