Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Deal with Recent Rains

(Jefferson County) Recent heavy rains caused some flash flooding issues across the region and some trouble spots on roads with debris and erosion.
Craig Luetkemeyer is the Recreation Division Manager with the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Department. We asked him if flooding has been a issue in county parks.
However, the rainfall has been a nuisance in another regard.
According to Luetkemeyer, maintenance workers will be checking on baseball, soccer, and other outdoor sporting fields to make they are in good condition for league play or recreational use come drier weather.
