Jefferson County Parks and Recreation youth fishing tournament

(Festus) Young area anglers can now sign up for the annual fishing tournament in Festus next month. The event is put on by the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Department and will be held at the Festus VFW Post 3777. Craig Luetkemeyer with the Parks and Rec Department says this annual event is for kids of all ages.
The Missouri Department of Conservation will be stocking the lake located at the Festus VFW Post 3777. The Youth Fishing Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 13th starting at 9 AM. Again, you must register by going to Jeffco Mo dot org/parks to sign up. The deadline to sign up is May 9th.
