Jefferson County Parks in good shape

(Jefferson County) Things have been running smoothly for the Jefferson County Parks & Recreation Department this summer.
Foot traffic and overall activity in the parks has been high despite the seasonal hot weather.
Craig Luetkemeyer is the Recreation Division Manager for the county parks & rec department. He says maintenance and other park crews have been working hard.
Luetkemeyer adds there has been talk circulating that a county park is closed.
The Jefferson County Parks & Recreation Department has 15 areas designated as park lands totaling 360 acres.
