Jefferson County Port gets $25 million as state budget is signed

(Jefferson County) Missouri Governor Mike Parson signed off on the state budget for the next fiscal year on Thursday. The budget does include $25 million allocated for the Jefferson County ports. Derrick Good is the President of the Jefferson County Port Authority Board of Directors. He says this is great news moving the group and the development forward.

Good says the Port Authority will begin the process of what specifically the funds will be used for.

The $25 million dollars will ultimately be used for improvements and infrastructure of the Herculaneum port.
