Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney on Crime Lab Benefits

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is certainly on board with the construction of the Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab. Jefferson County Prosecutor Trisha Stefanski says there will be countless benefits to having this facility up and running. She says the top reason is to get lab results back at a much faster pace.

On Wednesday, Jefferson County Sheriff Dave Marshak along with several Jefferson County officials met with the crime lab design firm to go over the site location in Pevely. The hope is to break ground on the crime lab later this year.
