(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County Election Authority is offering residents the opportunity to vote absentee much easier for the November Presidential election. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the fact some voters may be a bit worried about being among large crowds at the polls, there are two different locations in which voters can vote absentee. Jefferson County Elections Clerk Ken Waller says one of those is on the western side of the county.

Waller says the other satellite absentee voting location is in Arnold.

The Jefferson County Clerks Office in the Administration building in Hillsboro will begin extended their hours for absentee voting starting tomorrow (Thursday).

For those wanting to vote by mail, the deadline is today (Wednesday) to complete and sign an application by going to the Jefferson County website, JEFFCO MO dot org.
