Jefferson County Sheriff sends letter concerning internal investigation to Byrnes Mill City Administrator

(Hillsboro) Jefferson County Sheriff Dave Marshak has sent a letter to the Byrnes Mill City Administrator concerning the investigation into the Byrnes Mill Police Department. In early March, the Sheriff’s Office was requested to conduct a criminal investigation into the Byrnes Mill Police Department when an individual presented evidence that a Byrnes Mill employee or employees altered court documents. Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Grant Bissell has more.
