Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office East Zone office and Rock Township Ambulance joint building almost done with designing

(Hillsboro, Imperial) The design phase of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Imperial substation joint building with the Rock Township Ambulance District House 5 is nearly finished. Sheriff Dave Marshak says both he and Rock Township Chief Jerry Appleton are very pleased with what they’ve seen so far.

Sheriff Marshak says the building will have one side of the housing for their office and the other for the Rock paramedics. The center space will be for their respective vehicles.

Sheriff Marshak says having the space to move their large pieces of equipment to one location will be huge.

The design of the building should be completed next month, and then the project will go out to bid. Sheriff Marshak is hopeful that ground will be broken early next year and completed before the end of 2024. The Sheriff’s Office and Rock Township Ambulance joint building will be located on Lion’s Den Road in the Seckman Valley.
