Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office East Zone office/Rock Township Ambulance station house update

(Hillsboro, Imperial) It was announced late last year that the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Rock Township Ambulance District to build a joint facility to house a new ambulance house as well as the new East Zone Office. Jefferson County Sheriff Dave Marshak says while the plans for the structure are all but completed, they had to make sure the space has when they need for certain investigations they provide.

Sheriff Marshak says they also need a space for evidence.

Sheriff Marshak says they also need an area for their DWI unit.

Sheriff Marshak says this is a big investment for the future of the department.

Currently, the plan is for the construction bids to be sent out later this summer, they hope to break ground on the facility in the fall. The new Sheriff’s Department East Zone Office and Rock Township Ambulance House will be located on Lions Den Road in Imperial.
