Antonia Elementary Burglary Investigated

(ANTONIA) The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at Antonia Elementary School in Barnhart earlier this month. The Sheriff’s Office was notified of the incident on September 17th as a neighbor who lives near the school noticed a damaged chain link fence near an area of the school under construction. Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Grant Bissell says deputies responded and began to look it over.
Bissell says deputies then began to canvas the school.
The sheriff’s office continues to investigate the incident.
