Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office purchasing new tasers

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office will soon be replacing their tasers with new models for all of their deputies. Sheriff Dave Marshak says since they added tasers in 2017, the number of physical altercations involving injuries has dropped significantly.
Sheriff Marshak says the new models are obviously better in many ways.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office will purchase 150 new tasers. It’s unknown when delivery will take place, but likely before the end of the year.
