Jefferson County traffic accidents over July 4th weekend

Five people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Jefferson County Sunday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2016 Acura ILX being driven by 50-year-old Tara Gremminger of Barnhart was attempting to make a left turn from eastbound Route M to Moss Hollow Road when she failed to yield to oncoming traffic and traveled into the path of a 2015 Dodge Durango being driven by 47-year-old Chad Runzi of High Ridge. Chad as well as his three passengers all received minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital South by ambulance. Gremminger sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South. The accident happened just after 1:38 Sunday afternoon.

In a separate accident, a Cedar Hill woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash Sunday evening. A 2004 Hyundai Tiburon being driven by 29-year-old Kyle Negri of Dittmer was driving on East Four Ridge Road and E Swaller Road when he traveled off the road and struck a tree, causing the vehicle to overturn. While Negri was not injured, his passenger, 36-year-old Nichole Deck received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South.

A man and a woman from Pacific were both injured in a one-vehicle accident in Jefferson County yesterday (Monday) morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2008 Harley Davidson FXD being driven by 43-year-old Curtis Milton was traveling north on Route F at Kilkenny Lane when he was struck by a deer. The impact caused Milton to lose control of the bike and crash. Milton sustained moderate injuries while his passenger 45-year-old Stacy Milton received minor injuries. Both were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. The accident occurred around 3 Monday morning.
