Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation assisting with state property tax credit

(Jefferson County) The Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation (JFCAC) is helping its consumers that are eligible with the Missouri Property Tax Credit, formally known as “Circuit Breaker”.

Donna Masters is the Community Development Manager for the JFCAC. She says certain individuals are eligible to claim up to $750 if they pay rent or $1100 if they pay real estate tax on the home they own and occupy.

Masters goes over some of the documents that are required to file with the property tax credit.

The JFCAC will help anyone who is eligible complete the necessary forms free of charge.
