Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation Setting up a Emergency Rental Assistance Program

(Jefferson County) The Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation (JFCAC) is in the process of setting up a Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) for Jefferson County residents.

Jefferson County government applied for this grant funding as part of the COVID-19 relief package and the ERAP program is being offered in partnership with JFCAC.

Stephanie Kerth is the Chief Innovation Officer for the JFCAC. She says the rental assistance program was appropriated last December by Congress.

Kerth goes over who is eligible for the program.

To submit an application to be part of the rental assistance program, visit JFCAC.org/ERAP.

The application portal goes live on April 15th, but in the meantime, the JFCAC is accepting names for the wait-list, which can be accessed at the same site.
