Jefferson High Grad Colby Harris is Archer for Lindenwood

(ST. CHARLES)    Jefferson High School alum Colby Harris, an archer for the Lindenwood University archery team is practicing and getting ready for the upcoming season. Harris, who graduated from Jefferson in 2021 says he is looking forward to a schedule that will take the team to a variety of competitions at places like Foley, Alabama and Las Vegas. According to Harris, on a whim, he went out for the archery team at Jefferson and through a lot of practice and help from Jefferson’s archery coach Sherri Rawe, he achieved a scholarship to Lindenwood.

Harris says he practices nearly 6 hours per day but his biggest nemisis during competition is trying to keep from getting distracted.

Harris is a sophomore at Lindenwood and is pursuing degrees in criminology and pre-law. After Lindenwood he plans to attend either St. Louis University or Washington University for a law degree.
