Jefferson High School holds senior parade

Jefferson High School celebrated the Class of 2020 with a senior parade Tuesday night.

Graduates lined up along Bluejay Way leading onto the campus and received well wishes from friends, family and community members driving by.

Jefferson principal David Haug says, with the originally scheduled commencement ceremonies postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic, it felt good to have a moment of recognition for the seniors.

R-7 superintendent Clint Johnston echoed the desire to celebrate graduation.

The district is looking to hold a formal commencement ceremony on July 25th.
