Jefferson Hosts Valle on Senior Night

Girls basketball action returns to J98 Wednesday as the Valle Catholic Warriors travel north to Jefferson R-7.
Valle is currently 11-13 and has been on the rise since the Christmas break, including a fourth place finish in the MAAA Tournament. Warriors head coach Lisa Callahan says defense will be the key against the aggressive Blue Jays.
12-11 Jefferson is winners of 6-of-8 and will have extra excitement during the game as it’s senior night. Blue Jays head coach Brandon Joines says he doesn’t want his three seniors getting too excited, but for the team to play composed.
