Trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the 3rd inning, Jefferson’s number 8 hitter Levi Roth puts the Jays on top.

Jefferson starting pitcher Ricky Daugherty throws 5.2 innings, surrendering two earned runs on five hits while walking none and striking out six. Daugherty says he felt pretty comfortable out there with the offense providing good run support.

St. Vincent head coach Corey Sauer takes a positive away from the loss and that’s the fact that senior Matt Rellergert has done good things this season.
