Jefferson R-7 area thief arrested and charged

(Hillsboro) The man responsible for several thefts of vehicles and thefts from vehicles in the Jefferson R-7 area has been found and arrested. 24-year old James Young of Fenton was taken into custody at the Festus Wal-Mart on Wednesday. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell says Young is facing several charges.

Bissell says there are more charges issued from previous crimes.

With the additional charges, Young is now being held at the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
