(HERCULANEUM) The Jefferson Blue Jays made quick work of the Herculaneum Blackcats on the football field Sunday with a 60-0 shutout win. The game was postponed on Friday night, with the score 13-0, due to the thunderstorms and resumed Sunday afternoon on KJFF. The Blue Jays offense was too much to handle for the Cats as tailback Andrew Graves scored three touchdowns in the win and went for over 100 yards on the ground. Here was the third score of the game for Graves.

Herculaneum struggled to move the ball on offense gaining less then 80 years of total offense compared to nearly 400 yard for Jefferson, and they fall to 1-2 on the season, while Jefferson stays perfect at 3-0.

Blue Jays Coach Alex Rouggly says his backfield certainly got the job done.

First year head coach of Herculaneum, Cody Hunter, says his defense just couldn’t match up.

Herculaneum will visit St. Vincent in Week 4 this Friday, while Jefferson returns home to host St. Pius.
