Jefferson Bluejays catcher Catryn Cattoor will be playing college softball.

The junior committed to Washington University Wednesday.

She says she picked the St. Louis institution for a number of advantages it had over other offers.

Cattoor put up monster numbers in her final season at R-7, hitting .646 and slugging over 1.100 with 5 home runs, 36 runs batted in and 40 runs scored.

She says playing for head coach Robert Kuenhle was great preparation for the next level.

The Washington Bears started their 2020 season 6-3 before it was ended by the coronavirus pandemic.
