Jefferson’s Ott named Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week

(Festus) Jefferson Blue Jays football player Colby Ott is the Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week.
The senior put up a monster performance in the Blue Jays’ 41-20 victory over New Madrid County Central in the Class 2 District 1 championship game.
Ott piled up 217 yards from scrimmage to go with his 5 touchdowns.
Jefferson head coach Alex Rouggly had just one word to describe his star.
Ott helped the Jays win their first football district championship in school history.
R-7 will face Duchense in the Class 2 state quarterfinals Friday night on AM 1400 KJFF.
As Athlete of the Week, Ott receives a T-shirt, a certificate, and a coupon for a free entree at Applebee’s in Farmington.
