Jefferson’s Paige Seibert Named Athlete Of The Week

(Jefferson) The Jefferson volleyball team won the Seckman Tournament last Saturday and got some big help from one of its senior stars. Paige Seibert is our Athlete of the Week after helping the Blue Jays go 6-0 in the Seckman Tournament and 8-0 overall on the week.

Seibert recorded 168 assists over the eight matches, putting her over 2,000 assists for her career. Along with helping her teammates, Seibert served up 15 aces, 36 digs and totaled 42 points.

Jefferson head coach Tara Fish says Seibert has great teammates around her.

Jefferson is 14-3-1 on the season and will face off against the 8-5 Central Rebels Tuesday evening.

As Athlete of the Week, Seibert will receive a t-shirt, certificate and a coupon for a free entrée at Applebee’s in Farmington.
