Jefferson’s Taya Allen Signs with Maryville

Jefferson Blue Jay track and field athlete Taya Allen has decided to continue her running career at Maryville University.

Being very familiar with Maryville’s track and field coach, Coach Tony Bingham, Taya says that it was a special moment for her to be asked to continue under her former JETS track and field coach.

 
Taya believes that she and her teammates can make an impact big enough to land them in a position to win state this upcoming season.

 
Off of the track and field, Taya’s activities include a year of volleyball, a year of cross country, two years of basketball, Student Council, National Honors Society, Concert Band, as well as being the Senior Class Secretary.
