Jefferson’s Wrigley is Applebee’s/J-98 Athlete of the Week

(FESTUS) Our Applebees of Farmington Athlete of the Week is Jefferson High School sophomore track and field competitor Maggie Wrigley. Last week, Maggie claimed district championships in the 100 meter dash at 12.50) and 200 meter dash at 25.72. She also helped to break the school record as a member of the 1st place 4×100 team at 51.09.
Maggie says it was a fun week.
According to Maggie, she is fairly particular about her preparation before events.
According to Maggie, she has several goals going into the close of the season.
Maggie recently started long jumping and earned a 3rd place district medal with a jump of 16′ 4″. Two weeks ago, she was the JCAA Conference champion in the 100 and 200.
