Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park Recognized

(Lesterville) Missouri’s Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park has been named the best state park in the country for R-V-ing and camping.

The southeast Missouri park was nominated in May for U-S-A Today’s 10-Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

K-F-V-S/T-V reports the park north of Lesterville and west of Fredericktown is surrounded by the St. Francois Mountains and offers camping, picnicking, 13 miles of trails, and more.
