JPAD paramedics seriously injured in Sunday traffic accident

(Pevely) Two members of the Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District along with two others were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Sunday afternoon. JPAD Administrator Curt Steuve says the accident took place on northbound I-55 a little north of Highway Z.
Stueve says both paramedics were seriously injured.
Captain MaGuire has been with JPAD since 1981, Paramedic Bedwell has been on staff on a part-time basis for a year. The occupant in the ambulance 48-year old Gary Randolph is recovering after sustaining serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle, 60-year old Marjorie Foskey, that caused the accident, was also hospitalized and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, and three counts of assault.
