JPAD personnel have been Covid-19 vaccinated

(Festus, Crystal City, Pevely) A few paramedics and staff members with the Joachim Plattin Ambulance District have had their first round of the Covid-19 vaccine shots last week. JPAD Administrator Curt Stueve says he wanted to make sure they weren’t taking their spot in line too soon.

JPAD handles the patient transportation needs for Mercy Jefferson. Stueve says he plans to get the vaccinated himself, but hasn’t yet.

Stueve says those staff members that have received the first of the two Covid-19 vaccine shots have had no problems other than the normal soreness in the injection site, which is typical of any shot.
