JPAD reacts to Chief Cremer’s passing

(Festus) It’s well known the 1st responder community is a very tight-knit group. After the passing of Festus Fire Chief Kevin Cremer on Monday, several local 1st responder agencies have stepped up and expressed support. Administrator Curt Stueve with the Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District knew Chief Cremer well. He says it’s a tough time for everyone, but especially for the Cremer family, and the Festus fire department.

Chief Kevin Cremer passed away on Monday from complications from Covid-19, he was 48 years old. Cremer had been a firefighter with the City of Festus, since 2005, and became the Fire Chief in 2019.
