(Farmington) More than 47 million Americans are expected to drive or fly somewhere over the 4th of July holiday.
That’s according to a new report from AAA.
Officials say that travel volume is pretty much a full recovery to pre-pandemic levels.
AAA predicts road trips will be the dominant means of travel.
Despite the highest gas prices in seven years, about 91% of holiday travel is expected to be by car, approximately 44 million, compared to about 3.5 million who plan to fly around the 4th of July.
