Jury Finds Crawford County Man Guilty on Three Counts in Baby Shaking Death Case

(Ironton) A Crawford County man, who was arrested in 2017 for allegedly killing one of his twin infant daughters and leaving the other with serious injuries, had his jury trial last week in Iron County on a change of venue from Crawford County.

The jury found 30-year-old Eric Ford guilty on three counts…first and second degree domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child in the second degree.

The man from Cuba shook his two infants as he tried to get them to go to sleep on September 13th, 2017 at his home in Cuba.

The other girl received treatment for a skull fracture and bleeding of the brain.

Ford will be sentenced at the Crawford County courthouse in Steelville at 9 a.m. on May 17th.
