Kekec Picks Up Another Dream Team Selection
(Bonne Terre) The North County Raiders football team was stacked with talented athletes this year, but no one stood out more than senior wide receiver, defensive back and kicker, Karter Kekec. Kekec pulled in 27 balls for 703 yards along with four touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball. On the defensive side of the ball he had 22 tackles, six interceptions, three pass breakups and a forced fumble. Opposing coaches had to deal with Kekec all season long and decided to vote him on to the 2020 Football Dream Team. Kekec says he’s grateful to be chosen.
Kekec says with so many weapons around him on offense this year, it was never boring and points were plentiful.
Kekec’s coach, Brian Jones, started when Karter was a freshman so it took a little getting used to, but Kekec says coach Jones was great.
