Ken Waller running for State Rep in 114th District

(Herculaneum) Current Jefferson County Elections Clerk Ken Waller made it official this week, as he plans to run for State Representative in the 114th District. Waller says several years ago, he was influenced by former State Representative Ron Casey to seek a position such as this.

Waller says the former State Representatives that have represented the Quad City area are quite a list of influential people.

Waller says as a former Jefferson County Executive, and County Treasurer, as well as being the current County Elections Clerk gives him the experience needed to run for state office.

Current 144th State Representative Becky Ruth will be term-limited out in 2022. Since Waller will not seek re-election for the County Elections Clerk position, longtime member of that office Jeannie Goff has already announced she will be running for that position next year.
