Lake Levels Rise at Lake Wappapello

(Wappapello) Water levels have risen during the last week at Lake Wappapello in southern Wayne County.

Becky Hays with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the lake tells us about it.

We asked Hays if the lake’s high water affects swimming any.

Hays says the only special programs they will have this weekend at Lake Wappapello is water safety safety programs with games and activities on the lake’s beaches.
