(Ste. Genevieve) Every month, Ste. Genevieve School District administrators and the board of education take a look at what’s happening locally when it comes to the coronavirus and they will make changes to their guidelines for students and staff if needed.
Bailey Otto is the communications director for the district.
She says some changes were approved at the latest school board meeting.
And here’s the latest guidelines when school officials find out about a positive case of Covid-19.
Last summer, the Ste. Genevieve school added a Covid-19 dashboard to the district’s website.
It gave the public the latest numbers, such as the number of students or staff who were at home with the coronavirus and the number of individuals who were at home for quarantine purposes.
We asked Otto why those numbers can no longer be found.
Even though the local and latest coronavirus numbers within the district can no longer be seen, the Ste. Genevieve school’s website continues to have other Covid-19 information for the public like the latest guidelines for students, staff and visitors.
There are support links for mental, social and emotional health.
There are also links to the local health department, the C.D.C., the Missouri Department of Health and Human Services and the World Health Organization’s websites.
The district’s website also has other Covid-19 related material available to the public.
