(Farmington) The latest Missouri unemployment information shows about 12,100 new people filed jobless claims last week, a decline of about 46-hundred from the previous week.
The number of initial claims continues to decline from the peak 104-thousand filings at the end of March.
However, the latest figure is still more than twice the number of people seeking unemployment aid in Missouri during good economic times.
Nationally, about 1-point-4 million people filed for unemployment last week, the first increase in nearly four months.
