Law enforcement warns of driving inattention especially in work zones

(Hillsboro) Members of law enforcement continue to stress the importance of not driving distracted because of cell phones or other reasons. Sheriff Dave Marshak says there are a few major road construction projects ongoing throughout the county, and one of those is along Highway A between Festus and Hillsboro.

Just last week, a MODOT maintenance truck was struck from behind near Washington Missouri in Franklin County which resulted in an injury.
